Preen By Thornton Bragazzi SS 2012

London based label Preen showed their newest collection yesterday, kicking off with these digitized floral prints inspired by British author Virginia Woolf.  The dresses consisted of pastel colours, ruffled collars and  a line skirts before a darker floral print and laser cut lace were introduced over the print, said to be a blown up image of a peony.

The show then moved into sharper territory with some tailored pieces from shift dresses to trouser suits. They decided to continue with the colour blocking trend that proved so successful this season, but replacing those bold brights with softer, sorbet tones such as pink, blue and yellow.

Whilst the collection carried on with it's Victorian theme with plenty of frilly cuffs and collars, knee length skirts and sheer fabrics, they undoubtedly saved the best for last with this beautiful embellished dressed that had fashionistas all over the world determined to own it.
