Vinnie's Hearty Campaign


So this campaign isn't exactly fashionable, and neither is the Celebrity fronting it, but as it's a charity of which I do a lot of work for, I felt that this pairing deserved it's own post.

I'll admit to not personally knowing how to do CPR (apart from what I've seen on the TV of course) and a quick quiz around the office reveals that none of my colleagues do either, but one thing everyone will say is that they'd perform 'mouth to mouth' should this instance ever occur.

The British Heart Foundation have today released their new campaign fronted by ex footballer Vinnie Jones to help prevent those untrained in CPR from performing mouth to mouth due to the fact that it in fact does not help if not performed correctly, and that it's better to concentrate on chest compression's.

The advert named Hard and Fast is just under two minutes long and shot along to the Bee Gee's Stayin' Alive. Well, seeing as you learn something new everyday, what a better way to learn to save someones life.
