NYFW: Calvin Klein

Theme:  Minimalism - this is Calvin Klein, did you really expect anything else?

Palette: Off white, black and slights of coral.

Beauty:  Natural beauty of course.  Hair fell simply as if it had been towel dried

Key Look:  Look 29 (left)  If we must stick to black and white then a black dress will have to do, this ones nice, as black dresses go.

Review:  A bit predictable.  With Francisco Costa celebrating his tenth year as the brands creative director we might of liked to see him shake things up a little, but then what is Calvin Klein if not a brand that you can rely on for consistency year in, year out.  This year the silhouette was kept hidden and garments were boxy and un defining yet still constructed.  Clear panels appeared on a number of garments and towards the end of the show we got treated to a bit of fringing.  The most exciting part?  We got a flash of coral, yes that's right, a whole flash!

She's never far down in our style stakes, and this Calvin Klein Collection bandeau top and calf length skirt proves why.  Appearing at the ModelCo black tie event in Australia, the Victoria's Secret model teamed her ensemble with Giuseppe Zanotti heels and bright lips.

Look of the Week: Taylor Swift

What a week she’s had in the press, first her reported split from One Direction’s golden boy Harry Styles and now this. Is no secret that I have a MAJOR fashion crush of Taylor Swift right now (actually, it’s an all out girl crush but you know, potayto potahto), but this dress just takes my obsession with her to a new level! Striking a pose on the red carpet for the People’s Choice awards, Tay Tay opted for this plunging Ralph Lauren dress, emulating the White Out trend that was seen on runways from Calvin Klein to Alexander Wang this season.

Completing her look with some aqua Sultra earrings and a plaited updo, Taylor sure showed us that you actually can get along just fine without the current teen heart throb on your arm!
